Together with Jin-Chong Tan (Engineering), the group was responsible for organising and hosting a half-day symposium as part of the Oxford Solid Mechanics enterprise. The topic of the day was structural flexibility, and we were particularly pleased to welcome to Oxford a number of very distinguished guests, including Gérard Férey, Russell Morris, Simon Guest, Arnaud Marmier, Stephen Wells, and Neville Greaves.
