Andrew has been shortlisted for an OUSU Student Led Teaching Award in the ‘Outstanding Tutor’ category.
The OUSU award scheme runs in parallel to the University Learning Institute’s Teaching Award — the main difference being that the former is run completely by the student body. This year, more than 400 students have nominated staff across the University for OUSU awards in one of three categories: Most Acclaimed Lecturer, Ouststanding Tutor, and Best Support Staff.
The final winners will be revealed by the Vice Chancellor himself at a Teaching Awards ceremony to be held in Rhodes house later this month. Irrespective of the outcome, Andrew is extremely grateful to whichever students have nominated him!
