We’re thrilled to welcome Xiao Hua as a Marie Curie Fellow, joining the group in August this year. Xiao was an undergraduate at Fudan University in China, and received his Masters degree from Stony Brook University in New York. He then moved to Cambridge to undertake his PhD with Prof Clare Grey FRS, for which he studied the structure, morphology and reaction mechanism of novel electrode materials. Since 2015 he has been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the froup of Prof Ullrich Steiner in Fribourg. Xiao’s Fellowship will support him to build his independent research programme at Oxford over the next 2 years.
Congratulations Xiao, welcome (in advance) to the group, and here’s hoping we can make a success of his time in Oxford!
